Carson City RV is proud to be apart of the Route 66 RV Network. As such, we are able to give our customers the opportunity to be apart of various programs to help make your travels as successful as possible. One of those programs is the RV Club. RV Club Members get a 10% discount at all KOA Campgrounds. You must show proof of current membership upon checking in.

There are six KOA campgrounds in Nevada, among which are: Ely, Las Vegas, Laughlin, Verdi, West Wendover and Winnemucca.

Ely

This RV park is located very close to the Great Basin National Park, with meadows, forests, lakes and fascinating limestone and marble caves. You can explore ghost towns left behind from the 19th century silver rush or go hiking and ATV-ing through various nature trails. There is fishing, boating and swimming on Cave Lake, with fishing supplies available through KOA. The RV area includes patios, lawns and gas grills for your enjoyment. There are also tent sites, camping kitchens and cabins. For an extra long stay, you can enjoy the deluxe cabin that comes with a full bath, kitchenette and gas grill. For family fun there are playgrounds, nightly outdoor movies, scavenger hunts and ice cream socials. There are dog walking areas and on-site corrals for your four-legged friends. Las Vegas

Being only steps away from one of the largest casino resorts on the Boulder Strip, this KOA campground is full of fun. There is a free shuttle service that will take you to and from the downtown strip where you can enjoy lot’s of great entertainment. There is an in-house movie theater, 56-lane bowling alley, indoor gardens a waterfall park with a daily laser light show, and much more! For more information check here.

 

Laughlin

Laughlin Casino KOA is only 11 miles from the Laughlin strip. There is a 24 hour shuttle service available. There is access to the Avi Resort and Casino’s private beach, pool, boat launch and fitness center. There is also a Vegas-like casino with slots, table games and a bingo hall. Whether you are looking for fine dining or a relaxing beachside meal, there are many great restaurants in the area. For more information check here.

 

Verdi

The Verdi KOA is adjacent to Boomtown Casino and Hotel, allowing these campgrounds to offer all the fun of camping with full access to all the amenities of a hotel. This includes nightlife, entertainment, shops, restaurants and gaming. Surrounded by the breathtaking Truckee River and mountains, these KOA campgrounds are great for all seasons. West Wendover

You will find excellent fishing, bird-watching, hiking and even scuba diving in and around this KOA site. There are casinos and even wild mustang herds that frequent the area. The Wendover KOA is open year-round, with seasonal heated outdoor pool, mini golf and a grocery store. The campground is pet friendly. For more information check here.

 

Winnemucca

This KOA campground is surrounded by the historic gold-mining town, the high desert and the mountains of northern Nevada. There is an RV supply and convenience store on site. FOr family fun there are banana bikes, a pool, water balloon games, a shuffleboard court and a playground for the kids. You are invited to roast marshmallows over an open bonfire at the end of the day with other KOA campers. There are miles of trails for bikers, hikers and ATV riders. For more information check here.
